Morris Miller

Morris Miller has a long history of founding and advising numerous startup and established technology companies. Most recently, he formed Cutstone Ventures, a San Antonio-based firm specializing in seed and early-stage venture capital. He is also Chairman at Xenex Healthcare Services, and Managing Director of the Connell Curtis Group.

Previously, Mr. Miller has held various positions at Matthew & Branscomb, now a part of Cox & Smith, San Antonio’s oldest and largest law firm. He also co-founded Rackspace Managed Hosting, where he acted as President, Co-CEO and Co-Chairman, helping build the company and its subsidiaries. Today, Rackspace has more than 100,000 customers and revenues that exceed $1 billion. Not too shabby.

Morris is an alumnus of Phillips Exeter Academy, The University of Texas at Austin, and The Southern Methodist University School of Law.

Brooks Robinson

Brooks is someone you definitely want on your team. As co-founder of CBeyond, a national provider of Phone & IT Services, he currently leads the Could Services division. Prior to that, Brooks worked with Cambridge Strategic Management Group in Boston, Deloitte/Braxton Consulting in Toronto, and held various engineering positions at Nortel in Ottawa.

He is a past-board chair and current advisory board member of The Edge Connection, a non-for-profit organization providing entrepreneurial training programs for low-to-moderate-income individuals. In addition, he is a member and board director of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), a global network of more than 7,500 business owners.

Brooks holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering and Management Science from from the University Waterloo in Canada and the University of Queensland in Australia.

Blake Salle

Blake Sallee has nearly two decades of sales and sales management experience in hardware, software, and medical sales. Currently, he serves as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Channels at VCE, a joint venture between VMware, Cisco, and EMC.

In 1999, Blake began his career at Cisco as an Account Manager. Promoted to Regional Manager shortly thereafter, he was instrumental in leading the Atlanta Named Region to becoming the top performing is region in the U.S. In 2004, Blake led the Mid-Atlantic Enterprise operation, growing the business at over 23% for two years in a row. He went on to lead Cisco’s North American security business to achieve over $1 Billion in sales.

Blake is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.

Frederick Mendler

Frederick “Suizo” Mendler is a former Rackspace executive who was instrumental in bolstering the unique employee focused culture and helped to make Fanatical Support a reality. He joined Rackspace in January 2003 as an account manager and then was selected to lead support for the managed hosting segment. Overseeing the support teams through a period of incredible growth, Suizo focused on building great teams whose mission was providing the highest levels of service to customers. As Rackspace built out and enhanced their cloud offering, Suizo took over as the leader of Cloud Sales and Marketing.

Suizo resigned from Rackspace in July 2011 in order to share his experience with fledgling companies as an advisor and mentor.

Harlan Karp

For the past seven year, Harlan Karp has been dedicated to commercial and residential real estate development as Managing Director at SouthBlock Development and Management Group in Chicago. Before joining SunBlock, he was Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Harlan possesses an in depth knowledge of financial consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and auditing in a wide spectrum of industries. He’s consulted around the world with leading companies such as UPS, Deutche Bank, AFLAC, and GE Power Systems.

Harlan is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin, and a licensed CPA.

John Reid

John is an award-winning creative director who has spent over a decade gaining an intimate knowledge of companies to solve problems and seize opportunities through brand advertising. Some of the brands he’s helped to build include: Volkswagon, Corona, CareerBuilder, and T-Mobile.

In addition to his branding abilities, John has created media and web films for a multitude of companies, putting him in direct contact with entertainers and sports stars like Lance Armstrong, Dwight Howard, hip hop phenomenon BOB, and the infamous Lady Gaga.

John Reid is a graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, and The Creative Circus in Atlanta.

Mike Landman

As head honcho at Ripple, Mike has the duty of giving advice to employees, and seeking it from board members. But like all great company founders, his true strength has been finding and empowering the right people, at which he’s been extremely successful.

Mike is an active member of the Atlanta chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, serving on the board of directors as president. He also helped to found the EO Accelerator program, which advises first-stage entrepreneurs on how to advance their companies.

In what spare time he has, Mike can be found in Atlanta at Octane Westside, sipping on a macchiato, or in a quiet New York bar, supervising the build of his manhattan. Stirred, for Pete’s sake.
